These graphic fabrics are made using potatoes. The women in this small cooperative outside of Capetown cut out designs in potatoes and use this as their printing tool. The results are beautiful, bold fabrics used for draperies and small upholstery projects. Made to order pillows and limited edition accessories are sewn by local S.C. quilters and seamstresses.

Brightly colored, 100% cotton fabrics hand woven by three different weaving cooperatives in the highlands area of Guatemala. The mostly indigenous Mayan weavers work on foot looms and backstrap looms to create their textiles as they have for generations. A sewing group and leather workshop in Guatemala work to make chic accessories and pillows.
